Rajendra Mangal Joshi, FCA (Partner)
CA Rajendra Mangal Joshi qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and is a Fellow Member (FCA) of ICAN. With 20+ years of experience, he has provided audit, assurance, and financial consulting services across Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
He trained with G.S. Mathur & Co., New Delhi, specializing in banking, manufacturing, and government audits, including major banks such as Bank of Baroda, Nainital Bank, and ICICI Bank. Later, as Audit Manager at Banskota & Co., he handled audits for financial institutions like Lumbini Bank, Laxmi Bank, and United Finance.
Mr. Joshi then served as Country Internal Audit Manager for Coca-Cola Sabco, gaining international exposure in Vietnam, Cambodia, South Africa, Kenya, and Sri Lanka. He later worked with IUCN as a Finance Controller and held senior management roles at Standard Finance Ltd. and Social Development Bank Ltd. for over six years.
A passionate educator, he has been a faculty member at CCMA Pvt. Ltd. since 2005, specializing in Accountancy and Financial Management. He has been engaged as a prominent resource person in ICAN’s Education and Examination Department.
Surendra Shrestha, FCA (Partner)
CA Surendra Shrestha qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 and has been an ICAN member since 2007. With 19+ years of experience, he specializes in auditing, accounting, business development, and financial management.
He served ICAN as a Council Member for two consecutive tenures (2018-2024) and contributed to key committees, including SAFA’s Accounting Standards and ITAG Committees, ICAN’s Professional Development Committee, and the Standard Implementation Review Committee. He played a crucial role in NFRS implementation, preparing GAP analysis for insurance companies on behalf of ICAN. He has also presented technical papers at national and international professional forums.
Mr. Shrestha spent 5+ years at Banskota & Co., leading audits for banks, insurance companies, NGOs, INGOs, and government entities. He was a key team member for the Laxmi Bank & HISEF Finance merger, Nepal’s first official bank merger. He also conducted special project loan investigations for NIDC assigned by the Office of the Auditor General.
With 7+ years of banking experience, he served as Finance Manager at Standard Finance Ltd. and Senior Manager at Social Development Bank. A former faculty member at CCMA Pvt. Ltd. (2009-2018), he has trained professionals in IFRS, accounting, and auditing standards.
